'Medusa's head from the Cape ' aptly describes this species with multiple serpent-like stems arising from a short caudex (thick, woody stem).
Growing EDIT
The Medusa's Head can be propagated by cuttings, but they rarely form the central head. Sometimes, cutting both ends of the cutting instead of planting the complete branch incites them to form a head again.
